House Rules

We want out guests to feel at home away from home during your vacation. In doing so we ask you treat our home as if it were your own. Please be respectful of the property so we can continue to share our love of the home and island with our incredible guests!

-No smoking inside the home. If you smoke outside, please dispose of buds in the proper trash bin. Do not throw buds in the yard, pool area or anywhere on the property.

-Quiet Hours for the island are 10pm-7am please be respectful of our island and neighbors.

-Please dispose of any dog waste on the property in the outdoor trash bin

-When returning from the beach, rinse all sand off in the outdoor shower as this can clog the indoor shower drains. Dry off before entering the home when returning from the beach or pool.

-Do not flush anything other than toilet paper down the toilet. The home has a private septic system that WILL overflow even if "flushable" wipes end up there.

-We are dog friendly only, no cats or other pets but please only bring dogs that are well trained, outside potty trained rather than "mat trained" as we have found this only leads to accidents on rugs. Maximum of 2 dogs unless host approves and will also be an additional fee of $150 per additional pet.

-DO NOT leave pets unattended in the home without a crate. Sometimes while on vacation our furry friends get separation anxiety from their families. The island is VERY dog friendly, please make arrangements for them to be with you or bring a crate for the pet and the homes protection.

-No pets on furniture. If you cannot keep your pet off the couches and beds please bring large sheets to cover the furniture, it is incredibly difficult to launder out pet hair on some fabrics.

The space
Everything is Just Beachy when you pack up the crew and head to this lovingly decorated seaside escape on Hatteras Island!

A first level game room with pool table provides an immediate open space for lots of family fun as well as a quick escape to the private pool. A plush seating area with leather sofas is a wonderful retreat for catching the game on the wall-mounted flat screen TV, while sipping on a cocktail from the nearby wet bar with an undercounter wine fridge and ice maker. A nearby workout room and convenient half bath sit just outside the first of five bedrooms, a king en suite. All bedrooms throughout the home offer their own TV. A laundry room completes this level.

Three more well-appointed bedrooms, all en suites, are situated on the second living level, just down the hall from the main entry door. The king en suite, an en suite with one queen pyramid bunkset, and an en suite with two queen pyramid bunksets all have tub/shower combos.

An open kitchen, dining and living area come together with the final king en suite and a convenient half bath to make-up the third floor. A farmhouse sink and chic quartz countertops sit atop navy shaker-style cabinets, complimented by white wall cabinets and brass fixtures. Sleek stainless steel appliances and a breakfast bar all create a welcome space for both the savvy cook and their taste testers, while a nearby coffee and wine bar are steps away from the adjacent dining table so sipping and eating easily go hand-in-hand. After a long day at the beach everyone can enjoy some downtime in the living area with wraparound seating and a large flatscreen TV. Day or night, step out onto the sundeck to capture the wide-open skies overlooking the neighborhood while listening to the sounds of the nearby ocean in the background.

Outside amenities are just as inviting! A fenced in private pool and hot tub are great for splashing and soaking your cares away in the summer sun. Level-up at the tiki bar with an island time cocktail to help you cool off if sunbathing is more your speed. A quick walk to the community beach access will deliver you hours of fun of pristine shoreline and when you're ready to venture out, shops, restaurants and attractions are just a short walk, bike ride or drive away.
